Gija Jumula

This is a boab tree in Western Australia called Gija Jumulu. According to Wikipedia, jumulu is the indigenous word for boab. The tree is over 700 years old. Boabs can live up to 2000 years old. The 36 ton tree was transplanted to make way for a new highway. There were a few superficial damages but arborist cleaned it up and expect a full recovery.

Boab Tree
